Gunboat 66 Catamaran fitted with PFMBlue technology.

The vessel is constructed of a full carbon fibre structure with thermoformed core, prepreg carbon fibre bulkheads now had and have installed PFMBlue fuel technology to assist with any contaminated contaminated diesel issue.
Fitted with 2 fuel tanks one in port hull and one in starboard hull, the improved reliability of diesel quality for these diesel engines is essential for a long-term enjoyable cruising experience.

A New Zealand Pilot Vessel, Hart Marine and PFMBlue

Australian boat builders, Hart Marine of Melbourne has chosen and installed PFMBlue technology on its latest build for another New Zealand client, delivering a very high quality composite Pilot Vessel.

The ORC173 with a waterline length of 16.75 meters weighing in at 22,000kg is powered by twin 16.1 litre Volvo D16’s to achieve the maximum required 30 Knots when required.

For these main engines utilizing the high pressue Common Rail fuel injection system, GP16B’s were selected.

Mark Magnier, fluent in both English and French is the director of the company GIP Company.
We welcome him and will be assisting him with all enquiries to ensure client satisfaction.

GP600-LP Unit:
PFM’s GP600-LP UVHLM DREST, Diesel Dehydrating, REcirculating & STerilising unit was developed to meet the needs of bulk fuel users in search of an efficient and reliable method to ensure their stored fuel is always in optimum, clean dry usable condition.
The GP600-LP unit is rated at 10 Litres per minute (600 LPH), and designed to process 5000 litres of fuel in a single eight hour continuous operating cycle. The GP600-LP is suitable for tank volumes between 2500 and 10,000 Litres.

1HZ Landcruiser install for improved towing performance.

Another Landcruiser install completed.

The 1998 Cruiser owner choose the GP08B to be installed as past experience with fuel issues in remote Australia had created his want for an improved fuel system, further protecting the engine for moisture and bacterias causing filter blockages and engine performance issues.

The fuel system had previously been fitted with an alarmed water trap pre-filter and the PFMBlue unit was an additional precaution for the remote and very isolated areas travelled Alpine, desert and tropical.

S/V Bicho Papão, a cruising Lagoon 440, powered by 2 Yanmar 4JH5E of 54 hp each, has recently chosen to have a GP300-LP to be installed.

The unit was plumbed to assist in ensuring the fuel is maintained in the vessels 325 litre fuel tanks (one port, one starboard) at as high a standard as possible, but the unit also is to be used as a transfer pump (whilst polishing the fuel) keeping the “flying hull” weighted, making the most of the 44-foot catamaran’s sailing performance.

Built by Alloy Yachts of New Zealand in 2002, vessel “Destination Fox Harbr” is a 41 metre (135 ft) Dubois design has chosen a PFM GP4500 Recirculation Unit for fuel stability and conditioning.

The unit was chosen to assist in maintaining the combined volume of 30,000 litres of diesel fuel to as high a standard as possible, keeping the tanks free of the moisture created by condensation in the vessel integral tanks, complementing the vessels standard of quality engineering.
