Marine Diesel Quality

Expedition Drenched always has remote places over it's bow and next always on the list

“Expedition Drenched” was started in 2019 by Nate Porter from a culmination of his previous experience in adventure dive operations leading to the choice of the custom built 75 Foot (23 Meter) steel ketch “Sylfia”.
With its ability to offer a base for the productions created and a sailing experience to remote place’s, a vessels systems reliability is essential.
The adventurous path of the vessel requires fuel bunkering in remote areas, where dramatic climatic changes and various diesel fuel types and sources will inevitably lead to fuel quality being an issue where the correct treatment and risk reduction is essential, thus a GP300-LP was selected and installed to assist in the stabilisation of the 3 fuel tanks as well as use as a fuel transfer pump when needed.
The added bonuses of PFMBlue technology offering reduced emissions, cleaner tanks, and improved engine performance PFMBlue is now keeping the vessel operating in these logistically challenging areas.
